RULES: Strokes decided by taking 1/2 difference of players strokes, rounding up. This is guideline that will be used. If players work anything else out, it is between them and event committee does not want to hear about or have knowledge of changes in handicap. Otherwise, the strokes given will be used. Handicaps could change for round 2 based on new handicaps that will come out on September 1st.
In match play , golfers compete hole by hole. Golfer who wins most holes wins the match. Ties at end of match will be broken using the leagues' tie breaker system. ( Hole #8 is first tie breaker, Hole # 1 is second, Hole # 6 is third, Hole #5 is fourth, Hole # 4 is fifth, Hole # 2 is sixth, Hole # 3 is seventh, Hole # 3 is eighth, and Hole # 9 is ninth.
In match play, a player has the right to concede a shot ( give opponent the putt), he can also concede a hole, and he can also concede the entire match. If you sign-up to play and can not make the tee time in the allotted time , an option would be to concede the match. All effort should be made to play the match. you can schedule any time agreeable, not just league play times.
